Our Services
At Lily Pad Occupational Therapy, we believe in meeting people where they are—whether that’s at home, in the community, at work, or out on a peaceful walk. Our services are designed to support recovery, independence, and well-being through practical, evidence-based approaches that honour each person’s unique story. From comprehensive assessments to hands-on therapy, we focus on empowering you to move forward with confidence, purpose, and balance in everyday life.

What We Offer
Exposure Therapy
Build confidence by facing fears in a safe, supportive way. Our Exposure Therapy sessions help you gradually overcome anxiety, avoidance, or trauma-related challenges—so you can regain comfort, control, and participation in the activities that matter most.
Medical Legal Occupational Therapy Assessments
Gain clarity and confidence in your case with our Medical Legal Assessments. We provide objective, evidence-based evaluations that clearly outline how injury or illness impacts daily life and work—supporting fair, informed decisions for everyone involved.
In-Home Functional Assessments
Your home should work for you. Our In-Home Functional Assessments identify barriers and recommend practical solutions to make your space safer, more accessible, and better suited to your unique needs—so you can live comfortably and independently.
Walk and Talk Occupational Therapy/Psychotherapy
Step outside and experience therapy in motion. Our Walk and Talk sessions combine movement, nature, and meaningful psychotherapy to support mental clarity, physical wellness, and emotional balance—all at your own pace.
Cognitive Functional Capacity Evaluation (CFCE)
Understand how thinking skills impact everyday function. Our CFCE assessments explore attention, memory, and problem-solving to identify strengths, challenges, and support needs—helping guide recovery, workplace planning, and informed decision-making.
Ageing in Place
Lily Pad Occupational Therapy supports older adults in staying safe, independent, and comfortable at home. We assess daily routines, mobility, and your home environment to identify practical ways to reduce risks and make everyday activities easier. From home modification recommendations to equipment guidance and personalized strategies, we help you age with confidence in the place you love.

How are Occupational Therapy services funded?
All sessions are fee-for-service. Payment can be made by credit card or e-transfer. Receipts will be provided after each session, which can be submitted to extended health care benefits.
Unfortunately only some extended health insurance plans include occupational therapy services as a benefit. If your employer does not offer this benefit, then you should ask your employer to add occupational therapy services. The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy is lobbying insurance companies to include occupational therapy as an insured benefit on their plans. (link to ASK for OT)
Other Possible funding options are:
- Workers’ compensation claims if you have a work-related illness or injury.
- If you have an illness or injury from a motor vehicle accident, occupational therapy services may be covered under your auto insurance plan.
- Long-term disability insurance programs may cover occupational therapy services.
- If you are a Canadian armed forces veteran, the Department of Veteran Affairs may cover occupational therapy services.
