Do I Need a doctors referral to see an Occupational Therapist?
You do not need a doctors referral to see an Occupational Therapist. However if you have insurance coverage you may require certain documentation so it is good to check your insurance coverage prior to making an appointment.

What if I want to change occupational therapists?
At any time, you can ask to stop services. The consequences of this decision will vary based on many factors, including the system that your occupational therapist is working in. However, if you have chosen your occupational therapist and hired them on your own, changing providers is your choice.Â

Why do we have a cancellation policy?
Your appointment is a time that is set specifically for you and your treatment plan. Missed appointments or late cancellations affect your therapist and those that could have used your appointment time for their care, hence why we enforce a strict 24–48 hour cancellation policy.Â
Consideration will be given for emergency situations such as severe illness, hospitalization or personal/family crisis.Â
