Meet Ginette

Hi I’m Ginette an Occupational Therapist with two decades of  experience working in diverse practice settings across North Western Ontario. Born and raised in Winnipeg, I was drawn to the natural beauty and welcoming community of Thunder Bay, which I’m now proud to call home. I completed my Undergraduate degree in Psychology at Lakehead University, followed by a Master of Science Program in Occupational Therapy at University of Manitoba in 2009. I’m a registered member with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. I also hold a Clinical Faculty Appointment with the Northern School of Medicine (NOSM).

In 2023 I completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and love integrating, mindfulness, breathwork and movement into my occupational therapy practice. These approaches help support both physical and emotional well-being in the people I work with. Outside of work, you can often find me on the soccer field either playing or coaching, downhill skiing or spending time relaxing at “camp” with family and friends.

I am a proud wife to a First Responder, a mother to a vibrant daughter, an older sister to a sibling with Autism and a caregiver to my granny. Each of these roles has deeply shaped my empathy, understanding and approach to care, inspiring the compassion I bring to my work as an Occupational Therapist.
